Wedding at Home
Hayley and Michelle's wedding, included their two sons and baby daughter. It was a much anticipated event, since it had been postponed for a year due to COVID. It was a family affair, with everyone contributing to the event. It's amazing how a family home can be transformed into a beautiful wedding venue! Many young couples are choosing this type of wedding at a fraction of the cost of a traditional wedding. We were able to tailor the ceremony to include the children, with a very moving sand ritual, symbolising five individuals joining together as one family.
Mikhala and Adam chose to combine their son, Koda's, 1st birthday with a Naming Ceremony, in the company of family and friends. It was wonderful to be able to tell their story of Koda and share in their joy in the celebration of his being a very welcome addition to their family.
Pati and Beau chose a Legals Only wedding ceremony at picturesque Lavender Bay. After contacting the local council, I found a perfect spot for the ceremony, that was available at no charge. With just their two witnesses and a friend taking photos, it was a simple yet lovely ceremony. They had a bigger celebration at a later date.
Alex and Merv wanted a simple ceremony at the home of a relative. It was a lovely sunny day, but very windy as you can see from the photo. Nevertheless, everyone was dressed to the nines, the ceremony went smoothly and a family celebration followed.
